MOTORJESUS – NEW ALBUM “Streets of Fire” (2025)
The engine’s roaring again:
Motorjesus from Mönchengladbach are back – with their eighth studio album Streets of Fire. This five-piece from North Rhine-Westphalia is hitting the dystopian future of heavy rock at full throttle with their signature High Octane Heavy Rock.
All gas, no brakes:
Their sound blends raw rock ‘n’ roll in the vein of Motörhead, Turbonegro or Gluecifer with the epic spirit of 80s heavy metal – somewhere between Somewhere in Time, Screaming for Vengeance and a healthy dose of punk attitude. No ballads, no compromises – just tight songwriting, groovy rhythms and anthemic choruses made to shout along to. Or rather: yell your lungs out.
Back on the Streets of Fire:
With their previous album Hellbreaker, Motorjesus entered the German album charts at #20 and took over club stages and festival grounds alike (including Summer Breeze and Rock Hard Festival). In the past, they’ve shared the stage with giants like Motörhead, Anthrax, Mustasch, Prong or Der W.
Raw, loud, down to earth:
Despite their long career and constant growth, Motorjesus remain grounded. No rockstar attitudes, just five guys with a genuine love for rock ‘n’ roll and 70s muscle cars – proudly reflected in their cover artworks, where the iconic “Motorized Jesus” has long since become the band’s unmistakable mascot.
Fueled up and ready to roll:
Once again, the album was mixed by producer legend Dan Swanö (Opeth, Dissection, Edge of Sanity). The sound is harder, faster and more explosive than ever – and this time, completely without ballads.
Quote from Dan Swanö:
“I have been lucky to be the go-to guy for mixing and mastering for Motorjesus for more than a decade now, and these guys never cease to amaze me. This new record is their best so far, and there is a new focus and a vibe in these songs that made working on them a blast. I sometimes stomped my foot so hard while mixing that it hurt for days after – THAT’s a groove! Chris is one of the best singers in the world, and the rest of the band are absolute top class, too! Do yourself a favor and check it out – it’s mega-awesomeness deluxe!”
Full Throttle Through Past and Future:
Tracks like New Messiah of Steel, Streets of Fire, and the gritty They Don’t Die burst with energy and punk attitude. Songs like Somewhere From Beyond and Return to the Badlands, on the other hand, stay true to classic heavy metal roots while delivering signature Motorjesus style somewhere between hard rock, stoner, and anthemic classic rock.
New line-up, fresh energy:
With the current line-up, Motorjesus stay true to their roots while welcoming new energy. Subtle changes behind the scenes add a fresh dynamic to their songwriting – without compromising the signature sound. The solos burn, the riffs hit hard, and a few new stylistic twists add even more power under the hood.
Motorjesus are back – louder, tighter and ready to bring Streets of Fire to the road.
Let the motor run!
